Setting Up Your Account

Activation: Check your inbox for an activation email from Ambient. If the email is missing, check your Spam folder or contact your property team to resend it.

App Installation: Once your account is created via the email link, download the Ambient Home app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Navigating the Ambient Home App

Device Control (A): Tap and hold tiles for Locks, Lights, or Climate to engage with the device functionality.

Access History (B): Tap the timer icon on the bottom banner to view access history for your home. An access history event will expire after 45 days.

Common Area Access (C): If your community uses ProdataKey (PDK), you'll find those access control doors in the Ambient Home app by:

  • Tapping on the chevron icon on the top right of the lock tile.
  • Swiping left to view the Amenities.

Note: Not all features may be available in your community at this time.

Creating Your Door Code

To set up your first door code, tap the pop-up banner under the lock tile. To change your code or create additional codes go to Settings > Lock > Door Codes > Add a door code.

  • Length: Codes must be 4-6 digits.
  • Security Rules: Avoid sequential (e.g., 1234) or repeating numbers (e.g., 5658).
  • Naming: Each code must have a unique name. Names cannot be reused when creating new codes.
