New Ambient Home app

To try out the new Ambient Home app, follow these steps:

1. Download the beta app
   1. Get the beta app for iPhone
      1. Follow Apple's instructions to first install TestFlight, then get the Ambient Home beta.
   2. Get the beta app for Android
      
      1. Follow Google's instructions to install the Ambient Home beta.
2. Sign in using your existing Ambient username and password.
   1. You can have both the current Ambient Home app and the beta installed at the same time and switch between them as much as you like.
3. Use the beta app!
   1. Unlock your front door, set up a door code, check out activity history; whatever you do with Ambient Home today, try it out in the beta app.
4. Tell us what you think.
   
   

Why your feedback matters

We rebuilt Ambient Home from the ground up, and honestly, we needed to. While the current app works well for most residents, our app reviews tell a different story for plenty of others, and "good for most" is not good enough. We've spent months hunting down and fixing problems at every level, from the app itself to the systems behind it. Now we need to know if it worked. This beta is your chance to help us find out. If something feels confusing, breaks, or just doesn't work the way it should, tell us. Your experience using this app is exactly what will shape the final release.

• Real-time connection quality. We keep an eye on the connection between your phone and your lock, and let you know if something's not working.
• Lock battery monitoring. The app tells you when your lock batteries are healthy and when they need to be changed.
• A fresh look, top to bottom. And it's not just a pretty face. We've improved the navigation so you can find what you need, faster.
• Se habla Español. The app automatically switches to Spanish, if your phone is set to it.
