Managing Ambient Installer Logins

Ambient is responsible for adding individual email addresses as an Installer role in the Ambient platform. For new accounts, account deletion, or adjustments to community permissions, please contact Ambient Support.

Staff Email Restriction: A staff member is unable to use the same email address that is assigned to their staff role in Ambient Manager. Ambient will create an alias email address (e.g., staffmember+installer@email.com) when creating the Installer role.

Creating Your Ambient Installer Account

Follow these steps to set up your new installer account:

  1. Check your email: You will receive an email from noreply@ambientproptech.com. Select the "Set password" link contained within the message.
  2. Set a password: The link will direct you to manager.ambientproptech.com where you can set your password.
  3. Accept terms and create: Choose a password, select the 'I agree to Terms…' checkbox, and click 'Create account'.
  4. Access the application: The page will refresh to a login screen for manager.ambientproptech.com.
    • Note: You will not be able to log in as an installer at this web page.
  5. Log into the app: Close your browser, open the Ambient for Installers application on your device, and log in using your alias email and the newly created password.

Resetting Your Ambient Installer Password

If you need to reset your password, you can do so by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the portal: Open a web browser and go to manager.ambientproptech.com.
  2. Request a reset: Select "Forgot Password" and enter the alias email address used to log into the Ambient Installer App.
  3. Check for the reset email: You will receive an email from noreply@ambientproptech.com to reset your password.
  4. Complete the reset: Follow the prompts to reset your password, then return to the Ambient Installer App to log in with the new credentials.
