How to add and remove residents to Ambient.

Note: If your property has units that are integrated with a property management system, add and remove residents in your property management system instead. Only staff members with the role of Manager or Leasing Agent can add or remove residents to Ambient.

Video Walkthrough

To add a resident:

1. In the manager dashboard, Click the menu icon.
2. Click Residents.
3. Click Add resident.
4. Enter the resident's details.
5. Add the resident’s unit.
   • Click Add a unit.
   • Search or scroll to find the unit you want to add. Click the unit.
6. Click Add resident. You’ll see a confirmation message.

To remove a resident:

1. In the manager dashboard, Click the menu icon.
2. Click Residents.
3. Click or scroll to the resident to remove.
4. Click the 3 dots in the right-hand corner.
5. Click Move out resident.
6. Confirm and click the Move out resident button. You'll see a confirmation message.
